The Perfect Getaway!

Is going to the beach for four days with just your family and having no plans what-so-ever.We took walks.
We went to the park.
We searched for crabs.
We rode our bikes (and scooters).
We made smores. We Barbequed and got Fish and Chips of course.
We made sand castles.
We buried Jack in the sand.
We watched the girls boogie-board.
We people watched.
We vegged in the sun.
We watched the girls try to surf on their boogie-boards.
We did crossword puzzles and games.
We watched movies together while taking in the cool ocean breeze.
We enjoyed each other.
It was Perfection....

Summer = Slip n Slide + Sleepovers

Our summer this year consisted of lots of slip n slide, swimming, sleepovers, tons of birthday parties, playdates, the free movies, movie nights at home, yard sale, and lots of decorating the house including the garage/game room and Jack's room ( pictures to come soon), and visting the beach of course.Getting wet in this horrible heat and consuming popsicles everyday has been enjoyable.Looking for a second job all summer, then deciding to keep my one job and just pay for preschool everyday was decided.
Not sure why the picture is upside down, but Paris had put Jack to sleep on their very own sleepover.
Sleepovers with with their neighbor friend Nolan, as did Hunter.

Our friends from Oregon came to visit. And their girls Audrey and Lily stayed for a sleepover.Audrey got to come stay for another night aslo. And I aslo worked on making a few more book bags for some special B-Day gifts.

Did I mention that I love living here in this house in this area of town, and I am filled with anticipation of everyone staring school, including me and Matt, and Jack going to preschool everyday. He even gets to go to the girls school and will be able to be pulled out for speech. Can't get any better than that, except if it didn't cost so much. I am starting work, Khalia started soccer, Paris starts dance, and soon gymnastics and t-ball. I know life will never be easy but it will get better, I'm sure of it.

Where Does The Time Go? ( Seriously)

Jack turned four. Let me rephrase that. My last baby turned four. Don't get me wrong, I love the age he is and the big boy he is becoming but how is it happenning so fast?We rented a waterslide for his birthday and had a nice party at home with family and friends. The goodie bags full of skate accessories perfect for a skate party. He had a blast doing different tricks down the slide. Hes fearless when he lets loose.

He even jumped from the top to the bottom.

He got a special gift from Daddy.

Our neighbor Hunter loves helping Jack and playing with him.

This is the smile we recieved after every gift he opened. It was priceless. Although the gifts were not. I know. but Thankyou to everyone.

He even waited patiently for Hunter to read every card before opening. He got way too many skate ramps and skateboards.

Khalia

Paris missing one front tooth.

The girls with our neighbor Nolan.

This was his gift from Mom and Dad.

The cake decorated by Daddy.

Happy 4th Birthday Dude. We love you!

"No Doubt" about it....

The band is awesome!!! The girls were excited for their first concert...
Good thing they already had most of the bands songs on their IPods and knew most of the words.

Daddy picked out their outfits.
Mommy did their nails, hair, and makeup.
The Sounds and Paramore played first, but just didn't compare to the all time favorites of the much anticipated band. They sang along to most of the songs they knew. It brought back memories. They got soo many compliments from teenagers the whole night for their outfits who kept telling them Good Job with a thumbs up!
Paris ended up falling asleep halfway through NoDoubt. Who could blame her, there was only thousands of screaming fans, and it was only like 11 p.m.

Gwen Stefani put on a great show running around the arena faster than her bodyguards could catch up. It was way cooler for the first time than a tennie-bopper concert. It was a fun night.
